Hi Mike; The decompression play is measured at the solenoid on the right side of the bike under the tank. Take off the tank, you will see the solenoid with a rubber boot over it. Pull the boot off and observe the shaft that sticks out of the solenoid. Measure it with a flat feeler to 3 to 5 mm or .12 to .20 in. Actuator shaft adjustment is made from the left side at the cable adjustor.
